Born in the middle of the 70’s, Daniel dB has been attracted very young to the music. When he is only 5 he learns tonic solfa and flute and then, after 3 years of basic studies, starts his very first true passion: guitar.

In 1991, as he has been up to then a fan of rock music, Daniel dB discovers dance and house music. In that year the mythical « Dancefloor Syndorma » parties, organised by Djaimin and DJ Willow have been taking place. Together with 4 of his friends he decides to organise his own parties and in the same time starts with djing.

As months go Daniel dB meets influent people and we see him in different well-known bars of Lausanne where we can listen to him regularly. He discovers DJs as Little Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Erick Morillo or Laurent Garnier who will influence him by their musical style as well as by their technical side.

Everything starts in 1995 when Camacho, the « boss of the nights » in Lausanne, proposes him an evening in the « parloir » of the very famous MAD club. From then on he will become one of the resident and will not leave anymore. After 2 years on the second dancefloor, Daniel dB climbs one floor and starts to play his music on the main one that he will share with the very best house djs of the planet. On the same occasion were born some new friendships with some of them that will bring him on the dance floors of the neighbouring countries. One of them, Charles Schillings will also invite him several times at Rex club in Paris and through all France. Going on he will also widen his international experience from Spain to Belgium, going through Portugal, Italy and Germany.

Regularly received as a guest in various clubs, participating to many big events in Switzerland, he also diffuses his music on the main swiss radio stations, which dedicate him broadcasts periodically.
